Under the National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme in Manaveli Constituency, water levels will be drained at an estimated cost of Rs 22.5 lakh. Speaker Selvam inaugurated this work yesterday. Among them, the Sambodai pond in Abhishekappakkam. Purananguppam Chandra pond, Korukkanmedu Parapan pond, Thavalakuppam next to Thevarantham vannankulam, TN, Periyakuttai pond in Palayam are being cleaned. Arianguppam District Development Officer Kasinathan, Junior Engineer Sivagnanam and many others participated in this event.
