In the new draft rule, use of social media accounts of minor children can be banned. This means that children will have to take permission from their parents to create an account on social media. For this, virtual token will be used, through which children will be able to get permission from parents to use social media virtually. This will be a kind of verification process, through which the age of the children will be verified.
Virtual token system will be very easy
According to the new rule, children under 18 years of age will have to fulfill several conditions to create an account on social media. If reports are to be believed, virtual tokens will be generated using digital data. The government says that the process of virtual token will be made very easy, so that there is no problem in getting permission. According to IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnav, the token system can be used in many cases like Aadhaar based transactions.
Token system will be temporary
This token system will be temporary, limited to one-time transactions. After this the token will automatically expire. Many experts are being consulted in this matter. The minister has assured that there is no need to worry about privacy in this matter.
