Its manager and founder, Óscar Correa, explains that they decided to request the help of the Kit Digital program because with a less favorable situation caused by the pandemic they could not access the digitization that their company needed.

“The program helped us cover this financial cost that Tecout did not have”

“We are very satisfied with the implementation of Kit Digital because this whole procedure that we are implementing helps us improve performance, save costs”

“In a couple of hours we had the good request”

Why did you decide to participate in the Digital Kit?

Digitization is a fundamental and priority process for any company. We wanted to compete in the program because it was an option for the future and it helped us cover this economic cost that Tecout did not have… In a couple of hours we had the requested voucher.

What kind of digital solutions have you implemented?

The first solution has allowed us to improve the web and we have contracted the web positioning service for 12 months.

The second option is social media management. And the third is a help in the management and automation of recruitment and selection phases of the company.

How do you rate the Digital Kit?

We are very satisfied with the implementation of the Digital Kit, because this whole procedure that we are implementing helps us to improve. First in performance, we save financial costs and can spend more time doing other things more important to the company.

I would recommend the Kit Digital program to other companies because I think it is a necessary step to be able to develop and be able to be in a very short time within the sector in which it operates.

Nearly 900 million euros from European funds have reached Spanish SMEs in less than 9 months thanks to the Digital Kit

Kit Digital is an initiative of the Government of Spain, managed by Red.es, an entity attached to the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation through the State Secretariat for Digitization and Artificial Intelligence, which aims to promote the digital transformation of small companies, micro-companies and freelancers with less than 50 employees.

It is financed by the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan and has a budget of 3,067 million euros through the funds Next Generation EU. It has the Chamber of Commerce of Spain as a collaborating entity.

More than 150,000 bonds have been granted so far, which is equivalent to nearly 900 million euros of European funds in the hands of Spanish SMEs to go digital. This data is very relevant if we take into account that the largest bond management has begun to be executed in the last quarter of 2022, at which time all three calls for the Program were active. Red.es has exceeded expectations by the end of 2022 with more than 700 million euros in digital bonds granted, 40% more than initially planned.

Businesses and freelancers can choose up to 12 categories of digital solutions including: website and core internet presence, social media management, e-commerce; customer management; virtual office services and tools, business intelligence and analytics, process management, electronic invoicing, secure communications, cyber security, advanced internet presence and marketplace. These last two solutions are only included from the second call.

Simple application, fast and zero papers

Under the motto zero papers and thanks to robotization tools, it has been possible to reduce the processing time of a file from an average of three hours to three minutes.

The objective is to simplify the bureaucratic procedures as much as possible, the SME can authorize Red.es to consult ex officio the required requirements and obligations, thus safeguarding the transparency and legal security of the process. In addition, there is the figure of the “voluntary representative” so that a third person, physical or legal, can request the subsidy on behalf of the company, as long as it is duly authorized.

Once it is verified that the company meets the requirements, the digital voucher is granted. Bonds will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. At the moment, 100% of businesses that met the requirements and successfully submitted the application are receiving the digital voucher within 3-4 weeks.

The beneficiary must select one or more digitizing agents to develop the digitization solutions that best suit the needs of their business and sign the “digitization solution provision agreements”.

The beneficiary can consult at www.acelerapyme.es both the catalog of digitization solutions offered by the Kit Digital program and the catalog of digitizing agents.

More than 10,000 digitizing agents, especially ICT SMEs, throughout Spain

The Program wanted to give a leading role to ICT SMEs to ensure that digitization is maintained over time and improve the productivity of beneficiary companies and digitizing agents. Kit Digital currently has more than 10,000 members across Spain, of which 98% are small ICT companies.

The aid payment will be received by the digitizing agent once it has correctly justified the implementation of the solutions and the provision of the service to the SME. In this sense, if the justification is done correctly, the payment term is made in less than 60 days.
