Kochi: The High Court on Monday will rule on the anticipatory bail application of actor Dileep and others in a case of conspiracy to endanger investigating officers. The argument of both parties is complete. Dileep, his brother Anoop and sister-in-law TN have been booked in connection with a case of conspiracy to endanger investigating officers. Justice P Gopinath is considering the anticipatory bail applications of Suraj, his cousin Appu, friends Baiju Chengamanadu and Sarath.
Responding to each of Dileep’s allegations, including that the conspiracy was carried out by investigating officers, the prosecution demanded that the nature and seriousness of the alleged crime be considered.
He also demanded that the past history of the accused and the fact that the accused had given the citation for harassing a colleague should also be considered. He said there was evidence that Dileep had planned to kill the investigating officers and that further action had been taken. However, the respondent said that he was concerned that this was a fabricated story and that it was an attempt to make Dileep appear in custody.
