Savadesa Women’s Day was celebrated at Sirukanur near Trichy on Saturday.
Sirukanur Panchayat President Indrani presided over the function held on behalf of VOICE Foundation. Vanavar Vimithichelvi, Natural Agriculture Salesman Sudarkodi and Voice Foundation Project Manager Silambarasan spoke. A sports competition was held for rural women.
Earlier, VOICE Foundation Administrator S. Sindikeya welcomed. The arrangements were made by G. Janat Preethi, Trustee. At the end, Kavita, the headmistress of the Friendship Children’s Home, expressed her thanks.
