A Dinner in Honor of Saudi Imam
A dinner was held at the residence of Maulana Fazlur Rehman, the head of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam, in honor of Dr. Salah bin Muhammad Al-Badeer, the Imam of the Prophet’s Mosque. In attendance were prominent figures, including Chairman Saint Yusuf Raza Geelani, Speaker National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq, and Minister of Religious Affairs Chaudhry Salik Hussain.
The Imam of Masjid Nabawi ﷺ expressed his gratitude to the hosts and praised the relationship between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. He emphasized the importance of unity and cooperation among Muslims.
JUI chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman welcomed the delegation and highlighted the long-standing ideological, spiritual, and fraternal connection between the JUI and Saudi Arabia. He expressed solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in addressing various challenges faced by the Muslim Ummah.
The dinner was also attended by Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haidari, Senator Maulana Ataur Rehman, Senator Maulana Abdul Wase, former Federal Minister Maulana Asad Mahmood, Maulana Saeed Yusuf, Mir Usman Badini, Senator Abdul Shakoor, Senator Ahmad Khan, Spokesman JUI Aslam Ghori, Mufti Abrar Ahmad, Haroon Mahmood, Salahuddin Ayubi Sumayt, and others.
