For several months, relations between LFI rebels (Alexis Corbière, Clémentine Autain, Raquel Garrido, François Ruffin) and Jean-Luc Mélenchon have become increasingly conflictual. To the point that Raquel Garrido, one of the founders of LFI, was sanctioned, by the leadership of LFI deputies, with a four-month ban on speaking on behalf of the parliamentary group, after having accused Mélenchon of “harming” the movement. From now on, this small group, formerly divided or in competition, sticks together, even if it means positioning themselves as the proponents of “the unity of the left”.
