“Dinolandia” is not a temporary exhibition of robot dinosaurs, but a permanent space that will be free of charge until December 31, 2024, the last day of my administration, said Mayor Morales Padilla.

“Together with our governor Miguel Riquelme we inaugurated one of the iconic and most anticipated works by our people, such as Dinolandia, here in the main Alameda. Ramos Arizpe is a municipality of ‘chambeadora’ people, we are the industrial capital of Coahuila, we work here every day. The Governor’s economic and security policy and the high quality of our people have allowed the municipality to consolidate itself as a state leader in attracting investment and generating employment,” said the mayor.

But in a society as hardworking as that of Ramos Arizpe and in a globalized society, natural stress is generated and that is why the dignity and creation of public spaces is a central axis of the municipality’s policies, to promote the harmonious and balanced development of the society.

“Dinolandia not only represents the rescue of a gray area of the Alameda, this project also reflects the intention of being a disruptive government, taking risks and daring to do different things that benefit the people,” stressed the mayor.

UNIQUE PARK IN COAHUILA

For his part, in his speech at the inauguration ceremony, Governor Miguel Riquelme said that “Dinolandia”, the artificial lake, the museum and the house of culture in Alameda change the municipality of Ramos Arizpe radically.

“Today Ramos Arizpe is another. I admit it (Chema Morales), I also know that he will do much better with the new governor (elect) Manolo Jiménez, ”said Riquelme.

He also said that the “Dinolandia” park is unique and the best in the state, because in Ramos Arizpe they know how to make everything big. “This is a great gift for all the beautiful people who have trusted and been loyal through this difficult process. I am about to hand over the government, 84 days away, and I am happy in each municipality, thanking them”.

The design of the theme park and the robotic dinosaurs were the work of staff from the Saltillo Desert Museum and is installed in Ramos Arizpe in the main Alameda on an area of 4 thousand square meters; An extra attraction is the artificial lake, which also has architectural lighting and a dinosaur skeleton in the area, turning the place into a family outing.

The “Dinolandia” theme park, based on the story of the movie Jurassic Park, has 13 robotic dinosaurs, as well as a suspension bridge, a real plane, a Jeep, architectural lights, and guides that will describe each of the stations.

The dinosaurs have autonomous movement through electrical energy and emit sounds, so the environment is as if they were real. There will also be a special area for family and individual photos.

The complete tour in these first months will be half an hour for groups of visitors, who will also be able to enjoy an interactive attraction that is a sandbox, in which children can search for dinosaur fossils.

During the remainder of the current municipal administration headed by José María Morales Padilla, the Dinolandia theme park will operate from Tuesday to Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

On weekends the schedule will be different: entry will be allowed from 10:00 a.m. and closing will be at 8:30 p.m., this to allow a greater number of people on the tours.
