In Maincy (Seine-et-Marne), the fight continues against the persistence of dioxins from the old waste incinerator of Vaux-le-Pénil. After two appeals filed by the municipality to attack the decision of a former prefect who refused to launch additional analyzes and after losing in the administrative court and on appeal, the Council of State has just ruled in favor of Maincy! The news delighted the mayor, Alain Plaisance (SE), and Pascale Coffinet, mayor from 2001 to 2008 and president of the Association of Victims of Waste Incineration and its Environment (Avie) founded in 2003.
