Direct social support implementation measures on the agenda of a meeting between the Head of Government and the most representative trade unions
Rabat – The Head of Government, Aziz Akhannouch, examined, Monday in Rabat, with the representatives of the most representative trade unions, the measures relating to the implementation of direct social support ordered by His Majesty King Mohammed VI.
Mr. Akhannouch thus had discussions with representatives of the Moroccan Labor Union (UMT), the General Union of Workers of Morocco (UGTM) and the Democratic Confederation of Labor (CDT) on the various measures and procedures that will be adopted to ensure optimal implementation of direct social support, which will come into force at the end of the year.
On this occasion, the union representatives welcomed the participatory approach based on dialogue, consultation and mutual listening, led by the government for the implementation of this important national project.
The meeting was attended by the Minister of the Interior, Abdelouafi Laftit, the Minister of Economic Inclusion, Small Business, Employment and Skills, Younes Sekkouri, and the Minister Delegate to the Minister of Economy and Finance, in charge of the Budget, Faouzi Lekjaa.
