The French government has promised to provide ships, buses and railways to Ukraine, whose transport infrastructure was badly damaged by the Russian invasion. The Minister Delegate for Transport, Clément Beaune, who concluded a four-day visit to Ukraine on Sunday, called on French companies, “from now on”, to “be there, especially in the transport sector”.

According to the French Ministry of Ecological Transition, “the latest assessments estimate the cost of rebuilding Ukraine at 383 billion euros”, including 83 billion just for transport infrastructure.
