Zelensky ended his trip to Poland with a greeting to the mayors of the border towns

In his daily address last night, President Zelensky, back from Poland, praised the solidarity of the mayors of Polish cities who “saved” Ukrainians by opening their doors at the start of the war. He met the elected representatives of Rzeszów, Przemyśl, Lublin and Chełm in the latter, in the presence of Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki. “They proved in the very first days of a full-scale war that there were no barriers, borders, obstacles between Ukrainian and Polish hearts,” the Ukrainian president praised.
