Ukraine destroyed 28 Russian drones overnight
The Ukrainian army shot down 28 Russian drones overnight. “The enemy attacked Ukrainian territory with Shahed-type combat drones from the north and south (the Russian region of Belgorod and Cape Chauda in Crimea,” the Air Force underlines. These drones were descended on six regions of Ukraine.

Three people, including a toddler, were killed overnight after debris from a downed drone fell, destroying residential buildings in Russia’s Belgorod region, the local governor said.
“The air defense system in the Belgorod district shot down an aircraft-type drone that was approaching the city,” explained Vyacheslav Gladkov, adding in another message that “as a result of falling debris on the outskirts from Belgorod, two residential buildings were completely destroyed” and several others damaged.
“Three people are dead, one of them is a young child” and the two other people, injured, are in critical condition.
Putin is in Kyrgyzstan, the first trip abroad since his arrest warrant
Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived in Kyrgyzstan this morning, Russian and Kyrgyz news agencies announced, for his first official visit abroad since the International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant against him. Putin is due to meet with his counterpart Sadyr Japarov and participate on Friday in a summit of leaders of the Commonwealth of Independent States, bringing together several former Soviet republics.
