Russian air raid on kyiv of “exceptional” intensity
Russia launched an unusually intense airstrike on kyiv in the early hours of Tuesday, using drones, cruise missiles and likely ballistic missiles, city officials said. This is the eighth airstrike suffered by the Ukrainian capital this month.
“It was exceptional in its density – the maximum number of attack missiles in the shortest period of time,” said Serhiy Popko, head of the Kyiv city military administration, in comments posted on the Telegram messaging app.
Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said the falling debris set several cars on fire and damaged a building in the capital’s western Solomyanskyi district. Three people were injured.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky returns to Kiev after a tour of Europe with the promise of “powerful new weapons” including British attack drones and missiles as his country prepares its counter-offensive against Russian forces, and the belief that he would get fighter planes.
“Back home with (…) new and powerful weapons for the front”, announced the head of state in a video message to his fellow citizens, after completing his three-day tour of the United Kingdom , where he also obtained anti-aircraft missiles and expressed optimism about future fighter jet deliveries.
