The arrest of the director who filmed more than 300 women obscenely in Salem has created a stir.
The Suramangalam police arrested director Velsathrian (38) and his female assistant Jayajyoti (23) from Salem district’s Ethapadi for shooting obscene videos claiming to make young women actresses in a cinema company operating in a private building in Salem AVR roundabout area.
Shockingly, more than 30 hard disks, computer, laptop, camera, pen drive etc.
A police investigation revealed that the director had more than 300 pornographic images of women on his hard disks, which he had badly filmed and mutilated.
Aggrieved women are filing complaints against him.
Meanwhile, 400 people, 150 men and 250 young women, have given their bio data to Velchatryan asking for an opportunity to act in cinema. The police have seized it.
It is said that Velsathrian has collected up to Rs. 30 thousand each from some of them saying that they will give them a chance to act in his film. After this, the police have decided to interrogate those who gave the resume.
He is also said to have more than 100 pictures of women in the camera seized from him. It was also revealed that the hard disk contained semi-nude images of some women. The police have decided to trace and investigate the women in the picture.

A woman from Kachirayapalayam in Villupuram district was summoned by the police yesterday and questioned. Later, the police, who received the complaint from him, were given any images on the hard disks? If they are destroyed, the records will be sent to the Cybercrime Unit for investigation to see if they can be recovered.
Meanwhile, the audio of seducing women on the phone has been released and is causing a stir.
