Cinematographer Amit Roy has pulled out of Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki starring Shah Rukh Khan. Amit said that the reason for the withdrawal was a difference of opinion with the director. He said that he left the film amicably.

The Dunky cinematographer opened up about his retreat in an interview with E Times. “Yeah, I’m not dunking. It was shot in 19 days. Had some differences with Rajkumar Hirani. Neither of us could see things the same way. They left the Dungy together amicably. I didn’t want to go into a conflict,” said Amit Roy.

Amit said that he had shot a song for Hirani for the film Sanju. Since then, the two have worked together for commercials. The customer’s point of view also needs to be considered while taking an advertisement. But when it comes to the film, it is like through the eyes of the director. Amit also said that the scenes he shot for Dunki will be in the film.

Amit Roy made his film debut in 2003 with Ishq Vishq. Notable films are Dil Mange More, Ram Gopal Varma Ki Ag, Sarkar Raj, Deewana Mem Deewana etc.
