A 12th class student committed suicide by hanging himself in Chennai.
Velumani is the son of Lakshmanan from the Banu Nagar area of Ambattur, Chennai. He was a 12th class student in a government aided school in Ambattur. He recently committed suicide by hanging himself at home while his mother and father were away after the general election. Ambattur police arrived at the scene, seized the body and sent it to the Kilpauk Government Hospital.
It is said that the student first fell in love with a girl at the school where he was studying. Police suspect that he may have committed suicide due to lack of love. Police are investigating from various angles as to whether this is the cause or some other reason.
