A serious car accident that occurred this morning (Tuesday) between a commercial vehicle and a motorcycle on Route 458 near Kochav HaShahar claimed the life of a 20-year-old resident of Kochav Ya’akov, the late Yedaya Epstein, a member of the Kadama Student Village – Rimonim. In a statement on behalf of the association, it was stated: And with great pain the news of the death of the late Yedaya Epstein, a student and member of the Kadma student village in the village of Rimonim in Binyamin, who was killed this morning in a motorcycle accident near Kochav Ya’akov, as he made his way to the university. The Kadma family is sad and pained, and sends its condolences to his bereaved family.”
The Binyamin Council’s announcement reads: “Blessed is the truth, residents of Kochav Ya’akov, we are shocked and saddened to announce the untimely passing of the late Yedayah Epstein, son of Erez and Orit, who was killed this morning in a car accident. The professional teams of the council and the settlement surround the family and accompany it at this time. The Kochav Ya’akov community and the Benjamin Council embrace the parents and siblings.”
MDA paramedic Moshe Shuman said: “When we arrived at the scene, we saw the motorcyclist lying on the road unconscious and suffering from a severe head injury. We performed medical tests and after prolonged resuscitation operations, unfortunately we had to determine his death.”
