Kokkino Kastro

The red rock that dips deep into the sea harmonizes with the green trees of the hills, the azure waters, the stones, pebbles, and the sand of the beach, which combine various shades – from gray, to white, and yellow. The beach has sunbeds and plenty of free space for your umbrella, but we believe that the best shade is offered by the pine trees.

Gialia

Located on the western side of the island, it is perfect if you are looking for tranquility and not crowds as it does not have a beach bar or sunbeds. The waters of this small cove are crystal clear, and access to Gialia is via an easily navigable dirt road.

Agios Dimitrios

It is the most famous beach on the island and one of the most beautiful in the Sporades. Located roughly in the middle of Alonnisos, on the eastern side. It has azure waters, pebbles, and part of it is organized with umbrellas. Since the beach has two fronts – there is a corner approximately in the middle – you can choose a side depending on the wind direction.

Rousoum Gialos

The waters are azure and cool, while the shore is pebbly. A short distance away, you will find many taverns and cafes for food and coffee.

Leftos Gialos

A beach that looks like it’s straight out of a postcard thanks to its gray rocks and fine pebbles while offering a wonderful view of two uninhabited islets. You will reach it either by road or by boat on a sea route that takes about 40 minutes and offers wonderful landscapes.

Votsi

Next to Rousoum Gialos lies a small beach with fine pebbles and natural shade from the trees. This beach is close to the picturesque harbor of the fishing village with the same name. In our opinion, it is one of the most charming corners of Alonnisos.

Gherakas

Located in the northern part of Alonnisos. Here, the landscape is not as green and the pebbles are larger, but anyone seeking tranquility will be rewarded. The wonderful seabed of the beach is perfect for snorkeling and diving.
