NGC 6652, nestled within our own Milky Way galaxy, radiates an ethereal blue light emanating from its central core. Brilliant foreground stars, bedecked with intersecting diffraction spikes, add an extra touch of grace to this celestial ballet. Located in the constellation Sagittarius, approximately 6,500 light-years away from the Galactic center and 30,000 light-years from Earth, NGC 6652 continues to offer a captivating glimpse into the mysteries of our galaxy.
Globular clusters are conglomerates of tightly bound stars held together by their own gravitational force.
