Discrimination: “Women’s access to cafes is not that old”

In Sarcelles (Val-d’Oise), a committee of women has undertaken a tour of cafes in order to reclaim these establishments, where they dare not enter. The reasons are multiple: insistent looks, flirting, insults. We interviewed Corinne Luxembourg, a university professor who has worked on the place of women in the public space, to decipher its evolution.
