BNP has not given any possible time to hold elections to the interim government. The party’s general secretary Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said that the government will give the date for the election at a reasonable time.

Stating that the one and a half hour discussion was fruitful, BNP Secretary General said, ‘The discussion was fruitful. We are very optimistic about the interim government. They can bring a stable situation very quickly with their sincerity, patriotism and competence. At the same time they can go to an election. Do the necessary reforms.’
