Dismissal of case against Kasturi Raja-Dinamani

by time news

The Chennai Magistrate’s Court has dismissed the appeal filed by the late Financier Bodra against film director Kasturi Raja alleging that he had written off the loan amount to his cousin Rajinikanth.

During the trial, Bodra wrote on a blank piece of paper that he had bought from me at the time of the loan that Rajinikanth would return the money. Kasturirajah’s side argued that Potra had admitted this during the police and lower court hearings.

After Potra’s death, his son Kagan Potra was allowed to prosecute. However, Justices M. Thuraisamy and TV Tamilchelvi dismissed the case, pointing out that Ava did not appear during the trial.
