Washington: The US Federal Court dismissed the petition against Saudi Prince Mohammed bin Salman in the case of journalist Jamal Khashoggi’s murder.

Jamal Khashoggi is a journalist for the famous Washington Post. While in Turkey, he published controversial articles about the Saudi government and the prince in the newspaper he was working for.

A few years ago, he visited the Saudi embassy in Turkey and was found murdered mysteriously last year. Reports emerged that Saudi Prince Mohammed bin Salman was behind the murder. Subsequently, the US intelligence agency investigated the murder and the case related to it was being held in the US Federal Court.

While the case was pending, Saudi Arabia’s King Salman appointed his son, Prince Mohammed, as prime minister. The exemption is said to have been granted citing legal precedent in the criminal case against foreign leaders brought by US President Joe Biden’s government. In today’s investigation, it has been revealed that the judge ordered the dismissal of the case against Saudi Prince Mohammed bin Salman in the case of Jamal Khashoggi’s murder.
