During a technical meeting with its counterpart in the Zallaf Libya Company, the National Oil Corporation’s Exploration Department reviewed “the results of the exploratory wells drilled by the company in the Al-Atshan area (Ghadames Basin) and its surrounding areas, including the encouraging results of the well (C3-1) located in “An area close to the thirsty.”
The meeting also discussed “the company’s exploratory activity for the year 2024, which included exploratory drilling and reprocessing seismic survey lines in the company’s plots and concessions, in addition to examining the proposed activities and budgets for the year 2025.”
The meeting also discussed “projects related to the reprocessing of seismic lines, which the company intends to implement in the area (Mn 174) and the area (Mn 200).”
The meeting was attended by the directors of the exploration and geological and geophysical information departments, the advisor to the corporation’s board member for exploration and production affairs, the director of the company’s exploration department, and a number of specialists from both sides.
