The incident in which a young woman committed suicide by hanging herself has caused a great deal of grief.

Marimuthu lives in Melamudiman village in Thoothukudi district. He has a wife named Anu. They have been married for the last 6 years. There was a dispute between the husband and wife last week. Anu got angry and went to her parents’ house in Parumpur. Anu commits suicide by hanging herself from a fan with a sari when no one is at home.

Shocked neighbors reported the incident to police. According to the information, the police rushed to the spot and immediately recovered Anu’s body and sent it to the Thoothukudi Government Hospital for autopsy. Police have registered a case and are investigating.
