It was a party the likes of which Moscow has certainly not seen for the first time – but it provoked a reaction that is new for Russia and symptomatic of many of the changes that the state has undergone in the war against Ukraine. On December 20th, the well-known Instagram influencer and TV presenter Anastasia Ivleyeva hosted a party in a Moscow nightclub that was undoubtedly intended to counteract the dark December mood. Motto: “Almost naked”. Many participants followed, including many well-known faces from Moscow’s celebrities – at least those who remained in the country after the war of aggression against Ukraine began.
