Ilayankudi: District level kabaddi competitions were held in Ilayankudi ahead of the Madina Star Kabaddi Team Annual Festival.
32 teams participated in it. Ilayankudi Mayor presented the first prize to the Trichy Star Academy team and Jameema presented prizes and trophies to the 2nd prize winning Pudukottai Grand Conference team. DMK, District Representatives Khan, Mohammad Yasin and Union Representative Munab Bashir presented the prizes to the Coimbatore Karbagam University team which won the 3rd prize.
