After removing senior secretary, secretary and secretary rank officers from the posts of heads of various ministries, departments and agencies, this time the divisional commissioners and district administrators of the country are also being removed. Changes are coming to these posts. They are being withdrawn gradually and new Divisional Commissioners and DCs are being appointed in their place.
The Ministry of Public Administration said on Monday that this process has already started.
It is known that the divisional commissioners and district commissioners are being shortlisted year after year with the priority of deprived officials. They will be appointed in phases.

Soon after assuming power, the contractual appointments of senior secretaries, secretaries and secretaries in various ministries, departments and agencies were cancelled. On August 14, the contracts of 11 secretaries including the chairman of the National Board of Revenue (NBR) were terminated in one day. And the Secretary of the Prime Minister’s Office has been made Officer on Special Duty (OSD). Besides, promotion is being given to officials deprived of promotion. Major promotions have already been given to the posts of Deputy Secretary and Joint Secretary. Someone’s office has been changed. Secretary, Senior Secretary has been made from among the newly deprived. These vacancies are filled by appointment from among them. In this way, the reform work started in the administration through the recruitment, transfer and posting of the old ones.
