Bangalore: Software engineer seeks divorce over wife’s immorality The young man alleged that his wife had Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (ODC) and had washed his laptop and cell phone (Laptop and cell phone) with soap while working at home during Kovid’s time. The young man alleged that he and his children were kicked out of the house for a month in the name of cleaning up after his mother died. The young man approached the police stating that life was unbearable due to his wife’s excessive cleanliness. After the mediation failed, the husband filed for divorce.
The young man works in a leading IT company. The wife of an MBA graduate did not go to work. His wife’s behavior changed from the birth of her first child two years later.
The husband says the family relationship has worsened since the Kovid epidemic began to spread. This time his wife became seriously ill. All household items were washed, cleaned and sanitized. The wife bathes six times a day. Another soap was kept just to clean the bath soap. The young man said that he had asked for a divorce after he started telling the children to clean their clothes, bags and shoes.
The wife says there is nothing wrong with her behavior. The 35-year-old woman alleged that the young man was lying for a divorce. They live in RT Nagar, Bengaluru. They were married in 2009. After getting married, they lived in London. When he returned from work, he started cleaning his shoes and checking his clothes and phone frequently.
