The world’s largest manufacturer of consumer drones is the Chinese company Da-Jiang Innovations (DJI) presented a new drone model – a miniature Mini 4 Pro with the ability to transmit video over a distance of up to 20 km. DJI Mini 4 Pro is now available for order. The cost of the drone in the basic version will be from €829.
A special feature of the new product is a design that allows the drone to be folded compactly for easy storage and transportation, as well as a weight of 249 g, which frees the owner from the need to register the drone. The drone received a 48 megapixel camera with new image processing algorithms, including an improved Night Shots mode for shooting in low light.
Support for 4K video in HDR format at 60 frames per second is announced, as well as slow-motion video shooting at 100 frames per second at 4K resolution and 200 frames per second at Full HD resolution. The gimbal allows the camera to rotate to shoot vertical videos. The drone can shoot video with 4x digital zoom and take photos with 2x digital zoom, with resolutions of 12MP and 48MP depending on the shooting mode, including capturing photos in RAW format.
Mini 4 Pro received an advanced obstacle protection system, which, using a set of cameras and sensors, monitors the situation around the drone, which allows the drone to automatically brake in front of obstacles and go around them. The automatic return to take-off point system has been modernized. The ability to transmit Full HD video over a distance of up to 20 km is declared. The autonomy of the drone with a standard battery is up to 34 minutes of flight, and with a high-capacity battery – up to 45 minutes. For ease of control, cruise control is provided for flying along specified route points and Activetrack 360 mode, which allows the drone to automatically fly around the selected subject.
