World number 1 Novak Djokovic, not even in his best form, was crowned for the seventh time in Paris, the 40th in Masters 1000, by dominating the Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov (17th) 6-4, 6-3 on Sunday November 5. Djokovic made his return to the circuit in the Parisian venue, after a break of a month and a half following his record 24th Grand Slam title at the US Open in September. The 36-year-old Serbian will now head to the Masters which brings together the top 8 in Turin (Italy) in a week. For Dimitrov, no longer successful for six years, the shortage continues.
