DMDK District Secretary Electoral Ex-MLA, re-election

Villupuram: Former MLA Venkatesan was elected unopposed as Villupuram district DMK secretary.

A consultation meeting of district DMDK administrators was held yesterday at Villupuram KCP hall. Dr. Ilangovan presided over the party’s state council president. Thamu Sakthivel, deputy secretary of the state assembly trade union, presided.

In this, ahead of the party’s 3rd Infrastructure Administrators election, candidates for the post of Municipal, Borough, Union and District Administrators submitted nomination papers.

Former MLA, Venkatesan filed an application for the post of District Secretary to State Assembly Speaker Ilangovan. Similarly, many people applied for the post of district, union and city administrators.

Speaking earlier, District Secretary Venkatesan said that after knowing the opinion of the party executives and volunteers, he will file the petition only with their approval.

Then all the administrators who attended the meeting raised their voice in support of him. Venkatesan then applied for the post of District Secretary.

As he was the only one who applied for this post, he was selected unopposed as the District Secretary.
