A video of a DMK executive speaking on the stage at a general meeting of DMK held in RK Nagar West, Chennai, has created a controversy by speaking disparagingly about women members of the BJP, Khushpu, Namitha, Gayatri Raguraman and Gautami.
In this regard, Khushbu posted his protest and condemnation on Twitter by tagging DMK MP Kanimozhi. ”When men abuse women, it shows the way they were raised and the toxic environment they grew up in. These men insult a woman’s uterus. Such men call themselves followers of the artist. “This is the new Dravidama under the leadership of Chief Minister M.K.Stal,” he questioned on Twitter.
Such disrespectful speech will only earn DMK bad name. The leadership should condemn this. Some restrictions should be imposed on speakers. Both social justice and feminism should avoid stigmatizing discourse

To this, DMK MP Kanimozhi replied, “I apologize as a woman and as a man regarding this incident. Whoever does this, no matter what party they belong to, will never be tolerated. I apologize on behalf of our leader Stalin and academia for this incident,” he posted.

A few weeks ago Tamil Nadu Higher Education Minister Ponmudi said, ‘Are you going on the OC bus yourself?’ It caused controversy when he spoke. After the minister’s speech was condemned by all sides, the Chief Minister, speaking at the meeting of administrators, said, “I am obliged to respond to the attacks coming from many angles. My situation is like hitting both sides of the coin. What should I do if the senior administrators and ministers behave in such a way as to make me suffer more in this environment? Who to tell? I wake up every day thinking that DMK should not have created a new problem. Sometimes it keeps me awake,” he lamented.
It is noteworthy that following this, Minister Ponmudi said that they are doing politics based on what I have said in general, and if anyone’s heart has been hurt by his speech, he is sorry for it.
