Regarding this, Tamil Nadu BJP executives said: Before the last 2021 assembly elections, DMK MLAs K. K. Selvam and Dr. Saravanan both joined the BJP. joined. Even after the DMK came to power, some of the dissidents joined the BJP. In the districts where the Annamalai tour went, DMK and Vinar are joining the BJP.
To prevent the growing influence of Annamalai, the party leadership has embarked on the process of pulling back those who left the DMK. KU Selvam was rejoined DMK. Following him, Saravan, who was the president of Madurai Metropolitan District BJP, has also been asked to resign.
Also, the ruling party is involved in the talk of pulling the administrators who went to BJP from Sivaganga district DMK. Due to this, the BJP leadership is planning to give a shock treatment to the DMK. In the first phase, a disgruntled DMK MLA from Karur district has been interviewed. Preliminary talks to include him in the BJP have been successfully completed.
In case of joining BJP, he has decided to resign from his MLA post. Annamalai is going to contest in the by-election for the vacant constituency. Thus they said.
