If you are one of those who got by with a ‘Blue V’ on your Twitter account, without paying Elon Musk’s company for it, you should know: according to the company’s announcement, starting tomorrow, you will no longer have the mark designed to differentiate your account, and prove its reliability.

On the other hand, users who pay for Vi Blue will receive increased exposure on Twitter, for example appearing on the For You feed, which is currently the default feed on Twitter – and only through it can you be exposed to accounts you don’t follow.

Thus, those who do not pay Twitter an amount of eight dollars every month, will not gain exposure to almost any of their tweets, which will only be visible to their followers.

The move comes against the backdrop of the significant drop in Twitter’s advertising revenue since Elon Musk purchased the social network. In an internal email to employees, the richest man in the world who bought Twitter for $44 billion said that today the company is only worth about $20 billion.

However, Musk, who has already proven that he is not afraid of challenges, claimed that he expects his social network to be worth $250 billion in the future.
