With this plan, the telecom operator now offers its prepaid users an additional 500MB of free daily data. I.e. 50 percent of 1GB of data. Apart from this, it also offers other benefits to prepaid customers.

The Rs 249 prepaid Airtel plan comes with 1.5GB of data per day and with free 500MB of data, customers will get a total of 2GB of data per day. Apart from this, it receives unlimited calls and 100 SMS per day for 28 days. Both Airtel and Geo offer the same data, SMS and call benefits. With Geo’s Rs 249 plan, you will get 100 SMS per day, unlimited calls to any network and 2GB of daily data. The plan comes with a 28-day grace period.
The telecom operator does not offer any Amazon subscription with this. But, you will get 20% Geomart cashback. This can be used to get discounts at GeoMart or at the next Geo Recharge. Reliance Jio offers free access to Geo TV, Geosinima, Geo Security and Geo Cloud subscriptions. They are only available to Geo users.
Airtel vs Vi Rs 249 Recharge Plan
Vodafone Idea (Vi) has a similar plan. But, it only offers 1.5GB of data per day. However, customers will receive other data related benefits, including “Pin All Night” and “Weekend Data Rollover” features. That is, one can use the Internet from 12:00 AM to 6:00 AM at no extra cost. The other feature is that it allows unused data to be used on Saturdays and Sundays until Monday-Friday. Other benefits are similar to those of Geo and Airtel plans. You will receive 100 SMS per day and Unlimited calls for 28 days.
