The General Directorate of Pledge Credit (DICREP) facilitates the population’s access to collateral credit safely, by providing a pledge as collateral and whose loan amount corresponds to 60% of the valuation of the pledge.
The maximum credit limit is $750,000 for jewelry and $150,000 for other objects, payable within a period of 150 to 180 continuous days and renewable for the same period of time as the case may be, it indicates. ChileAtiende.

How to renew a collateral credit in the Dicrep
The procedure is carried out only in person: the person must go to a branch of the General Directorate of Pledge Credit, explain the reason for your visit and present your identity card along with the pawn policy.
In this way, you will immediately receive a new policy that provides an additional period of six months for the payment of the loan.
Requirements to renew a pledge loan
The extension of the loan only applies once, if the pledged item is in the jewelry category and the borrower chose the usual payment method (at the end of the established term).
At the time of recovering the pledge, the borrower must pay the amount of the credit plus the percentages corresponding to simple interest (2.5% monthly)issuance right (3.5% one time) and insurance concept (1% one time) of the loan.
