News from Angola – The specialist in natural health sciences Benjamim Sassova, recommended this Tuesday in Luanda, the use of facial bandages in order to reduce the flow of respiratory diseases.

Benjamim Sassova who was speaking at the end of the 2nd edition of the “Business and Connectivity Forum” in Benguela province, the use of a face mask for children to avoid respiratory allergies, which are common at this time of year.

The naturopathic specialist explained that allergy is a different way for the body to react to seemingly harmless stimuli. “Asthma (Bronchitis) and Rhinitis are the most frequent in cold weather.

Asthma is chronic and has been caused by shortness of breath, wheezing and tiredness”, clarified the doctor, adding that 30% to 40% of the world’s population, according to data from the World Health Organization, suffers from this disease, which has caused many deaths among children and young people.

Rhinitis, according to Benjamim Sassova, is due to the exaggerated sensitivity of the nasal mucosa, characterized by repeated sneezing, runny nose, congestion and itching in the nose. For children, one of the recommendations is the use of a face mask, drinking water, keeping the house clean, using an airy space, keeping the pet out of the bedroom, washing and changing bed sheets frequently, among other precautions.

It should be noted that, in addition to Asthma and Rhinitis, there are other allergies, namely Tonsillitis, Pharyngitis, Laryngitis, Sinusitis, Dermatitis, allergic conjunctivitis and allergies to chemical products.
