Move along with us

At the Sint Maartenskliniek, we dedicate ourselves every day to perhaps our most important freedom: our freedom of movement. From a toddler who cannot move his arms properly due to brain damage, to the home care worker with flaring joint infections. Here you help patients who place their last hope for a life with more movement and less pain on us.

Do you contribute to the best care?

We are immediately looking for a:

Doctor’s assistant

The Sint Maartens Clinic

The Sint Maartenskliniek is the largest posture and movement practitioner in the Netherlands. We provide highly specialized, complex care in the fields of orthopaedics, rheumatology, rehabilitation and pain management. As a front runner, we regularly make headlines with our innovations. For example, some of our patients with a spinal cord injury were the first in the Netherlands to walk again with an exoskeleton.

Your department

The Rheumatology department of the Sint Maartenskliniek is the largest and most specialized in the Netherlands. Our patients are assured of the best treatment, based on the most up-to-date scientific insights.

In addition to high-quality care and lifestyle guidance and advice, our rheumatology outpatient clinic is also characterized by efficient and effective business operations. The team includes doctor’s assistants, specialized nurses, medical secretaries and desk clerks. Together they ensure that our patients experience a visit that is as smooth and pleasant as possible, in which the quality of care is very important. In addition to medical care, we also guide our patients in dealing with the consequences of rheumatism in daily life, living situation and work. We offer high-quality care in locations in and around Nijmegen, Ede, Boxmeer, Woerden and Geldrop.

The vacancy is for our small-scale outpatient clinic in Ede, located in the building of Hospital Gelderse Vallei.

Your function

You provide support and assistance to specialists during outpatient consultation hours. Both at our head office in Nijmegen and at our outdoor locations. You perform many medical-technical actions, such as taking blood, measuring blood pressure, injecting, making ECGs and giving syringe instructions to patients. You also provide oral information about, among other things, research. In addition to registering patient data and making appointments, you perform administrative and secretarial work.
