It is known that they have gathered at Shahid Minar to avoid unpleasant situation. Later a delegation will go to BMDC from there.

10-point demand of doctors

1. Doctor designation cannot be used without BDS/MBBS degree.

3. Health care should be ensured by doctors at Union level.

4. The sale of drugs in pharmacies without prescription should be stopped.

5. Pay structure of Private Doctors (Medical Officer, Senior Medical Officer, Assistant Registrar, Registrar) should be confirmed.

6. Promotion should be ensured in the light of experience.

7. No one has the right to say wrong treatment except BMDC.

9. Health protection laws/policies should be formulated.

10. Strong condemnation of BMDC’s consideration of MATs, DMF, LMF passed Medical Assistants as ‘Diploma Medical Practitioners’. Information and cooperation sought.

Regarding the program, the convenor of Bangladesh Doctors Foundation Dr. Md. Shahed Rafi Pavel said, we had initially planned to gather at BMDC. But the diploma holders there also gave a counter program. We can see that many people are trying to fish in muddy water around this program. Some people want to make this movement of ordinary doctors and students a conspiracy of Awami League. We want doctors and students not to get any kind of dirt in the movement for their rights, which closes the way for the future.
