Does anyone see it in ODIs? Aakash Chopra says ODIs are boring

Test cricket has not got the most work in cricket due to the proliferation of Twenty20 series. But for ODI cricket. This can be seen by looking at the obvious shortcoming of the ODI series.

Former India captain Aakash Chopra has demanded a change to the ODI format. Chopra says ODIs are a meaningless format in cricket. “Twenty20 cricket is a favorite of fans and broadcasters,” he said.

‘I think ODI cricket is the most boring match. It sounds like a meaningless game. It’s becoming a format that no one remembers. I think ODI cricket is struggling to attract spectators, ”Chopra said

‘T20 cricket is not difficult to manage. Broadcasters need it because T20 internationals must continue. Otherwise the broadcaster will not pay you. International Twenty20 matches must continue if the broadcasting rights of every country are to be a big hit, ‘Chopra added.

Earlier, former India coach Ravi Shastri had said that T20 matches should be played only in the World Cup and that bilateral series were unnecessary.

‘Even when I was the coach of the Indian team, I was told that cricket had to change in the way of football. That means you only play in the Twenty20 World Cup. No one even remembers the series where the two teams played, ‘said Shastri.

Shastri is of the view that league matches like the IPL should be played more by reducing the number of international T20 matches.

But Chopra says T20 internationals should continue. Chopra points out that if T20 cricket is played internationally only once every two years, teams will not have time to prepare for the world event.

Chopra made his comments on his YouTube channel.
