The study was conducted by China’s Northwest Minzu University. The aim of this study was to investigate whether carbonated soft drinks affect fertility. It was found that men’s scrotal development improved and general sexual health also improved.
The study results were published in the medical journal Acta Endocrinol. However, several previous studies conducted worldwide have shown that drinking soda drinks can affect men’s reproductive health and significantly affect sperm quality.
However, recent studies have shown that the effects are reversed when it comes to arousal testosterone levels. In short, this is contrary to previous research findings.
Experiment given to rats
Male rats were tested in experiments conducted by Chinese researchers. They were divided into two groups. One group was given drinks like Coca Cola and Pepsi and the other group was given just water to drink. This routine continued for 15 days.
Finally, the total weight, scrotum size and blood test of all mice were checked.

A surprising result
At the end of the 15th day, it was found that the sex drive of the mice that had been given Coca Cola and Pizzi drinks had improved. Their testosterone levels were found to be elevated. Extending this research could lead to solutions for testicular-related diseases, the researchers said.
