By advocating a strategy of obstruction in the National Assembly during the examination of the pension reform and by castigating his communist allies who were not on the same line, Jean-Luc Mélenchon drew criticism from officials unions and part of the left.
And even within La France insoumise (LFI), his choices are questioning more and more. Support for Adrien Quatennens, implicated and condemned for violence, reorganization of the management and sidelining of major figures of the movement: some “rebellious” tenors, from Clémentine Autain to Alexis Corbière, now dare to publicly question the choices of the chief.
To what extent is Nupes weakened by the leadership of the former presidential candidate? The “slingers” of LFI, this small group removed from the management in December 2022, can they weigh within the “rebellious”? Can a natural successor for 2027 emerge in a movement where Jean-Luc Mélenchon remains essential?
