“Does the Israeli government itself pay the terrorists’ salaries?”

by time news

The Knesset’s Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee will convene tomorrow (Monday) between 9: 30-11: 30 for a quick discussion on the issue of violating the law on offsetting the terrorists’ salaries. This is at the request of MKs Orit Struck, Moshe Arbel, Avi Dichter, Meir Porush and Amichai Shikli.

From data obtained by the Knesset members who initiated the debate, it appears that the funds that the Cabinet decided to freeze as terrorist funds – were nevertheless transferred to the Palestinian Authority, using the revolving door method. This is in the dark and against the law.

Government representatives coming to the hearing tomorrow will be asked to answer a series of difficult questions sent to them ahead of time. Among the ministries that are expected to be discussed: the National Security Council, the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Justice, the Tax Authority and the Ministry of Finance.

Among the questionnaires sent before the hearing:
– Is the law on freezing terrorist money violated by the government?
– Does the Israeli government pay the terrorists’ salaries itself?
– And from what legal budget source does the government transfer “loans” to the Palestinian Authority?
