MUMBAI: More than 250 dogs and cubs were reportedly shot dead by monkeys in retaliation yesterday. The Maharashtra Forest Department has said that two monkeys, the ‘serial killers’ in the shocking incident, have been arrested.

According to ANI, Sachin Khand, a forest official in Beed district, said he had caught two monkeys involved in the dog-throwing incident. According to the report, the monkeys were shifted to Nagpur to be taken to the forest.

According to reports, the monkeys’ revenge killings began after a group of dogs killed a baby monkey. About 250 people were killed, including puppies and dogs. The bizarre incident took place in Laval and Majalgaon villages.

Ever since the baby monkey was killed, the monkeys have been watching the dogs. The dogs were grabbed and dragged to the top of large buildings and dragged down from there. A group of monkeys are behind this retaliation.

When not a single dog was left in the area, the locals informed the forest department. According to villagers, about 250 people, including dogs and children, were killed by the monkeys in a month.
