The dogs were found dead this morning at Kirakullam near Vanjiyur. Locals complained that the group that arrived last night killed the dogs by giving them poisoned food. CCTV footage has surfaced of a man feeding the dogs at around 8pm. The complaint is that this group killed the dogs.
The Vanchiur police have registered a case on the complaint of the animal lovers’ organization. The police are examining the CCTV footage.

Last day, the police registered a case of killing and hanging a street dog in Changanassery. Changanassery police registered a case under IPC 429. The dog was found hanging on the road near the Perunna Subramania Swamy temple on Tuesday morning.
Two days ago, a woman was chased here to be bitten by a stray dog. It is indicated that the dog was killed and hanged in protest.
