Doha: India’s G Sathyan / Manika Bhadra pair won a silver and Sarath Kamal a bronze medal at the WTD Content Table Tennis Tournament in Doha.
In the mixed doubles, Satyan / Manika lost 4-11, 5-11, 3-11 to Lin Eun Joo / Cheng I Sing of Chinese Taipei.
In the Ottawa singles semifinals, Sarath Kamal lost 5-11, 11-8, 6-11, 11-7, 11-5, 10-12, 9-11 to China’s Yuan Lisen to win the bronze medal. This is the first medal won by Sarath Kamal in the last 2 years.
