Doha: (www.kvartha.com) The small country of Qatar is preparing to welcome the World Cup, which is only a few months away. With the streets of Rio and Buenos Aires breathing life into football, Doha will also become a football city. The city streets will be filled with festive atmosphere, filled with pictures and flagpoles of legends and extraordinary football moments.
With the participation of government ministries and the public, the Supervisory Committee of Beautification, which is responsible for urban beautification in the country, is embarking on plans to transform Doha into a football city.
The beautification projects will be implemented under the theme ‘Let’s Celebrate’. The public will also have the opportunity to compete in the program called ‘Cena’. Both locals and foreigners alike can dress up their homes and walls as part of the World Cup.
Competitions will be organized in various sectors such as universities, schools, kindergartens, municipalities, public and private institutions. Prizes have also been announced for the best.
More than 16,000 spectators will arrive at Doha and Hamad International Airports daily to watch the FIFA World Cup. Preparations have been made at both the airports to receive the spectators arriving for the World Cup.
