Dollar prices rise in Baghdad and Erbil with weekend closing

/ The US dollar rose against the Iraqi dinar in Baghdad on Thursday, and in Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region, with the closing of the stock exchange.

Agency correspondent said that the dollar prices rose with the closing of the two main stock exchanges in Baghdad, Al-Kifah and Al-Harithiya, to record 152,000 Iraqi dinars for 100 dollars, while this morning it recorded 151,700 Iraqi dinars for 100 dollars.

Our correspondent pointed out that selling prices in exchange shops in local markets in Baghdad rose, as the selling price reached 153,000 dinars for $100, while the purchase price reached 151,000 dinars for $100.

In Erbil, the dollar also rose, with the selling price reaching 152,000 dinars for every 100 dollars, and the buying price reaching 151,900 dinars for every 100 dollars.
